Southern Africa

In this region PMU has projects in Zimbabwe – a country with great potential. But despite this potential, poverty is widespread, corruption is high and a large percentage of people are HIV positive or have AIDS. Zimbabwe is, however, also a success story in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The region is affected by recurring droughts, making the situation for those living off the land extremely difficult. Finding alternative livelihoods is therefore an important aspect of our work here. Increasing the quality of preschools and working to ensure that the rights of children are respected are other examples.

We want to challenge you to join us – so that we can change the world together.

PMU is working in cooperation with local partners with an emphasis on livelihoods and children’s rights.
